2. General Description

The Newtest Exercise Monitor - Bone Health estimates the loading of your bones through daily exercise, including everyday chores. The Monitor shows, as a percentage, how much of daily and weekly bone exercise has already been done and motivates you to keep physically active. You can then find out if your daily exercise is adequate, both in quality and quantity, for bone loading.

Scientific research has shown that bones respond best to jumping, bouncing and multidirectional movement. This kind of bone exercise, especially if taken in many different forms helps to maintain healthy bone. Bone exercise is any form of daily physical activity that makes your body move and work: jogging, running, ball games, racket sports and aerobics. You know that the exercise is good for your bones if it makes your cheeks and buttocks wobble!
