What is bone exercise?

Bone exercise is any form of daily physical activity that makes your body move and work. Jump, jog or run, play ball games and put more effort into your Nordic walking. You know that the exercise is good for your bones if it makes your cheeks and buttocks wobble.

What are the benefits of Newtest Exercise Monitor - Bone Health?

The right type of exercise improves your bone health. Women's bone mass already begins to decline after the age of 30. You can now actively slow down this trend.

With Newtest Exercise Monitor - Bone Health you can estimate whether your exercise is good for your bones. At the same time you can enjoy the other positive effects of exercise: easier weight control, increased muscle strength and better balance.

In a survey conducted by the University of Oulu and Oulu Deaconess' Institute, the effect of exercise on bone density among 120 women aged 35-40 years was examined during a period of one year. The participants were randomly divided into an exercise group and a reference group. In the exercise group, a statistically significant rise in bone density was observed in the femur, lumbar skeleton and heel bone. The follow-up was carried out using Newtest Exercise Monitor - Bone Health.
